Recently, Genesis Homes relocated to Gilwilly Industrial estate to neighbour Manning Elliot Architects and Grant LTD in the former Pirates of Penrith home. Specifically, redesigned and refurbished to suit Genesis Homes’ plans to be at the forefront of the building market, exciting plans are afoot to showcase our aspirational homes in the most innovative of ways.
Formerly Pirates of Penrith, the building was overflowing with play equipment for their swashbuckling clientele and as much as some of the staff would have liked see it stay, Genesis Homes donated it to those more worthy.
Friend of Director Nick Bailey, Kirkby Lonsdale based Day and Residential Autism School, Underley Garden received the equipment to aid their programme as well maintain, and hopefully improve their recent ‘Good’ Ofsted report.
“We would like to thank Genesis for this amazing donation of soft play equipment – we are in the process of completely refurbishing our gym and play facilities and the pirate equipment will be at the centre of the new provision once completed. This will form a whole new imaginary world for our young people which you can’t put a value on.”
“We have older children who love this type of play but look out of place in community based facilities bouncing around when younger children are accessing soft play centres. This gives us the opportunity to give the whole of our community the freedom to swashbuckle to their heart’s content.” – Chris Kirkbride, Registered Manager
