Luxury new build housing estate

Overwhelming interest in our upcoming Kirkby Lonsdale development

Posted on: November 6, 2024

Our upcoming Lunesdale Rise in the beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale has already attracted huge interest ahead of the sales launch.

We have received more than 350 pre-launch enquiries about the properties to be built at the development which will comprise 34 new homes.

Lunesdale Rise follows the success of Genesis Homes’ neighbouring 78-home development at Oakfield Park, and we are anticipating the properties to be snapped up in double quick time.

Construction has started at Lunesdale Rise and the first homes are expected to be released in the New Year.

Kirkby Lonsdale is one of the most sought-after locations to live in the North West of England due to its close proximity to both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dale National Parks, and with easy access to high quality independent shops and restaurants and excellent primary and secondary schools.

Kirkby Lonsdale also has excellent road links with access to the A65 just a few hundred metres from Lunesdale Rise, while Junction 36 of the M6 is less than six miles away.

Which is why all at Genesis Homes are so excited to be bringing more high specification, energy efficient homes to an area which has been identified as in need of substantial new housing.

We anticipate these homes will be in high demand and, now that construction work has started, it is recommended that people get in touch to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

Lunesdale Rise will consist of a mix of two to four bedroom homes, with 13 of the 34 properties designated as affordable housing for local people.

As part of the development we will invest £221,000 worth of improvements to footpaths linking nearby housing developments to local facilities, including Queen Elizabeth School.

Our Land and Sales Director, John Blue, said: “The local communities we build new homes in are always at the forefront of our considerations. Having a positive impact on the cities, towns and villages where we create new communities is a hugely rewarding part of the job.

“We listen to the needs of the areas in which we build, and we’re delighted to be able to improve the safety of the footpaths for local schoolchildren as part of this exciting project.”
