THERE is a huge buzz around the place now that we have moved into a new £250,000 office in line with the company’s rapid growth.
The business has invested significantly in creating a bespoke office base for its staff through the major renovation of a 6,000 square foot building on Penrith’s Gilwilly Industrial Estate, providing a more comfortable, spacious and modern office space for its growing number of employees.
As we continue to grow – there are now more than 60 employees at the company – it became apparent that we needed a larger office space to make sure that everybody who comes into the office feels comfortable as they step through the doors.
We made the decision to carry out the renovation of an adjacent building which would allow us to tailor the environment to our working needs, and provide a space which is extremely modern and crisp.
Watching the renovation progress from our previous office windows over the months has only added to the excitement of the move, and our staff are really enjoying being in their new surroundings.
For us, creating a purpose-built new office is not just an investment in infrastructure, it is an investment in our people and our business as a whole as we strive towards meeting our ambitions for further growth.
The new, two-storey HQ provides extra working space for employees to operate in. In addition, the building features ample meeting rooms and social spaces.
The creation of the new space represents the rapid progress the company has made over the years and also prepares the ground for further significant growth.
The journey Genesis Homes has been on since being formed in 2017 has been an incredible one and we are extremely proud with all we have achieved to date, particularly as we have had to weather some extremely turbulent years.
The hard work and expertise of the staff meant we were able to plan to overcome all obstacles and we want to reward the efforts of our employees along the way. This spacious, modern and high-tech new office as a way of showing our gratitude to the staff for their dedication and commitment.
We have big ambitions to double in size in terms of properties built per annum by 2028, and to achieve this target we will need to add to our team and the larger office space allows us to accommodate this growth comfortably.
