A FORMER North East president of one the UK’s largest representatives of builders will use his vast industry knowledge to ensure our customers receive the best service possible.
We are delighted to welcome Craig Wright, who until recently was president of the National Federation of Builders for the North East, to the team as Customer Care Manager to make sure customers are getting the best level of care for their new home.
Having previously been part of a family building company and worked in property and construction for decades, Craig’s expertise in building will be a huge asset to his new employers.
He said: “Customer care is vitally important to a company like Genesis Homes and it is my role to make sure homeowners are completely happy with their new build, and that we can resolve any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner.
“The work the company already does to satisfy purchasers is excellent but there is always room for improvement so I look forward to the challenge of making sure our aftercare package is better than it ever has been.
“Already, I have found that customers have been pleasantly surprised by my knowledge of the industry and this will ensure that any issues raised with us are dealt with in the quickest time possible, and with high levels of care and attention.
“Genesis Homes is a housebuilder with a great reputation across the North of England for building high specification homes, and I look forward to enhancing that reputation by adding more than 20 years of industry experience to the team.”
Craig’s career began as a general practice surveyor for Storey Sons and Parker, before moving on to represent real estate agency Smiths Gore.
Then followed a 10-year stint working in the asset management department of Macclesfield Borough Council, until he returned to his native North East to join his brother’s building and property agency company.
A relocation to Penrith followed and, after being impressed with our new headquarters while driving past, Craig ended up having a conversation with our Managing Director John Blue about potential opportunities.
Craig said: “I was driving past the new Genesis Homes office on my way to get my car washed, and I was struck by how contemporary the building was so I wanted to find out more about the company.
“I ended up contacting them and speaking to John, and the rest, as they say, is history.”
John said: “Since recently joining the company, Craig has already shown what an asset he will be as his knowledge of the industry and desire to make sure our customers receive the best service possible is extremely commendable.
“Craig showed great initiative by getting in touch and enquiring about working with us, and his enthusiasm and determination has really impressed us.”
