After delivering numerous successful developments across Cumbria over the past eight years, we’re expanding into Lancashire, bringing distinctively designed homes to desirable locations across northern Lancashire.To support this major milestone, we’re delighted to welcome Richard Robins onboard as Land Director for Lancashire and the North West. Richard brings with him a wealth of experience in land acquisition, residential development, and strategic growth, and will be a key figure in implementing our growth plans across Lancashire.
Richard holds an impressive CV, having undertaken key roles at Redrow, David Wilson Homes, Vistry Group, and most recently Regional Land Director for Greater Manchester and Merseyside at Gleeson Homes.
Richard’s array of industry knowledge and expertise will be pivotal to Genesis Homes’ expansion into Lancashire, acquiring new land opportunities that will help build an even stronger future for us and the communities we build homes in.
Richard said: “I am joining Genesis Homes at a really exciting period and by appointing myself, amongst others, the business is investing in experience and expertise to reach these targets.
“What stood out to me when meeting with the team was the passion and drive to develop Genesis Homes. This is evident in how quickly the business has grown with 14 successful developments in under eight years and five more launching in 2025 and 2026. It’s impossible not to be excited by this.
“I’m very much looking forward to helping Genesis Homes make its mark in the North West in the coming years by selecting desirable areas that complement our high quality homes. My focus will be on making connections with Lancashire landowners and agents. I’ll be out and about over the coming months and look forward to meeting with prospective clients.”
