We’re delighted to have been shortlisted as Large Business of the Year in the 2024 in-Cumbria Awards.
The prestigious awards celebrate the amazing array of businesses, large and small, which operate across the county, and it is a real honour to be selected by the judging panel in such a competitive category.
We have been recognised by the judges for an excellent year of growth which has seen our output increase by 50% due to a rise in demand for the high specification, energy efficient new homes we build across Cumbria, and Lancashire.
Our wonderful team helped us achieve a record year as we completed construction on 154 homes in a 12-month period, exceeding the total of 97 new homes the previous year.
Demand for our homes has resulted in the sale of the last homes at our 55-home development at Rheda North Park, in Whitehaven, and the 16-home EcoGen development at Calthwaite – our pioneering net zero emitting pilot project.
The success of the past year gives us a solid platform for further growth and our teams are currently operational across eight sites.
We will soon start work on constructing close to 260 properties across three further developments in Carlisle, Seaton near Workington and Kirkby Lonsdale.
Being shortlisted in the in-Cumbria Awards follows our recent success in the prestigious North West Residential Property Awards when our 82-home Eamont Chase development in Penrith was named the best large development consisting more than 50 homes in the entire region.
Closer to home, we have also been shortlisted as Penrith’s Best Business in Penrith Chamber of Commerce’s Stars of Business Awards, with the winners being announced next month.
We congratulate all other businesses shortlisted across the numerous categories in the in-Cumbria Awards, which is just reward for their excellent daily efforts to make Cumbria such an amazing place to live, work and visit.
